Irish Local Development Network
Local Development Companies (LDCs) are multi-sectoral partnerships that deliver community and rural development, labour market activation, social inclusion, climate action and social enterprise services. In supporting disadvantaged individuals and communities, LDCs are not-for-profit, volunteer-led organisations who provide a national service through locally-based services. Their ethos is bottom-up, taking a holistic view of the individual and the community. Their services are integrated so employment supports, enterprise grants, social inclusion, training, well-being and environmental supports are available under one roof
Social Impact Ireland
Social Impact Ireland is devoted to making a difference in the social enterprise sector in Ireland. We believe in the power and the potential of each individual to make a real difference that will benefit their community and beyond, and make a positive social impact. We work hard with each individual, at whatever stage they are on their social enterprise journey – to fulfil the potential of their endeavour to make a positive impact on society.

Community Resources Network Ireland
CRNI is the representative body for community based reuse, repair and recycling organisations in Ireland.

Our vision is an Ireland where the word ‘Waste’ doesn’t exist and where our entire community benefits from the social, environmental and economic value of all reusable resources.

Our aim is to provide a range of practical supports to our members, and to promote community based, sustainable waste management as a practical and effective way of tackling Ireland’s growing waste problem.

Activelink
The Activelink website launched in 2001, primarily presenting Community Exchange content on the web. Over time we moved from being an email-bulletin based website to being a website-based e-bulletin. Eventually we were carrying so many volunteering and recruitment related posts that we launched the Activelink Jobs and Volunteering e-bulletin alongside Community Exchange.
