Emilie is a pioneering figure in the founding of a movement known as the DADA Campaign for Human and Cultural Rights. Motivated by her own personal journey and experiences, particularly heightened during the pandemic, Emilie felt compelled to amplify the voices of people with disabilities, who were often marginalized and overlooked. The acronym “DADA” symbolizes the inclusion of Disabled Artists & Disabled Academics, reflecting the diverse community that Emilie’s advocacy has attracted. DADA’s core mission is to advocate for greater equity and inclusion for disabled individuals across all facets of society.
