Krystian Frikert relocated to Ireland in 2004 with the aspiration of working at Google. While pursuing his career goals, he continued to leverage his background in psychology to offer mental health support to the immigrant community from a modest room in a community center in Dublin city center. Recognising the pressing need for accessible and timely mental health services in Ireland, Krystian embarked on a bold endeavor to establish MyMind.

MyMind, the first and largest blended model of mental health care in Ireland and is putting Ireland at the forefront of mental health innovation and community-based mental health services that work towards giving equal access to mental health support early, affordably, directly, without stigma or delay. Krystian is now an award-winning social entrepreneur and has continued to diversify and develop MyMind as a pioneering not-for-profit social enterprise, with profits made from fee-paying clients used to subsidise clients who cannot afford full fees.

It has three centres in Dublin: Dublin 1, Dublin 6 and Dublin 8, one location in Cork, and one location in Limerick, providing face-to-face support, and provides support through Online MyMind, an innovative online support model to lead changes about improving community wellbeing in Ireland. MyMind has responded to each crisis Ireland has faced in recent years and has advised, collaborated and delivered services for several government departments whilst also advocating for community wellbeing. Through its multifaceted approach, MyMind continues to lead the charge in transforming mental health care in Ireland.
